In 1984 in Bellevue Nebraska, Music Mart began selling new, hard-to-find and out-of-print Albums, 45s, Cassettes, Cassette Singles, CDs, and Compact Disc Singles from 1955 to current via mail order. Then in 1986, the company had decided to move itself out to San Francisco California where it would gain and obtain retail exposure in the marketplace by selling new, hard-to-find and out-of-print music.
However, in October 1989 when an earthquake destroyed most of San Francisco California that also included Music Mart. The owner of Music Mart decided to move the company back into Bellevue Nebraska to look for a new location to rebuild and re-establish itself once again.
Then in October 1991, Music Mart purchased Movie Mart, a company that had been specializing and selling new, hard-to-find and out-of-print Laser Discs, Video Discs, and VHS Tapes from 1970 to until which time Music Mart bought out its inventory along with its company name.
In addition to this, after Music Mart completed its buyout of Movie Mart it formed one (1) new company called Music & Movie Mart Inc. and launched a new website called Musicandmoviemart.com. We became known as a reputable, trustworthy, and a committed company that would provide the highest quality products and have the highest customer service available. That specialized in new, to hard-to-find and out-of-print music and movies via the internet from 1955 to current.
This has allowed us to become leaders in our industry as we very passionate about everything we do for our customers as they have put their faith, confidence and trust into us as we will deliver every item as advertised and will not sell anything we would not put into our very own personal collections.
